You, Me and Us aims to redress the drivers of violence against women by promoting equal and respectful relationships between young women and men.
The project trains and supports culturally and linguistically diverse young women aged between 18 to 24 years to become youth ambassadors in the prevention of violence against women.
The peer educators co-deliver respectful relationships education sessions in higher educational institutions, sporting clubs, youth organisations and primary schools in Melbourne’s west.
Target groups for the education sessions include post-secondary school aged young people (18 to 24 years) and senior primary school students (10 to 13 years). To support the sustainability of the project, professional development training is provided to adults from the participating schools and organisations.
