Program outline
The program is delivered as an intensive workshop over seven days. The structure of the program includes eleven sessions (generally two sessions per day). All sessions are structured in the following way:
- Begin with an icebreaker activity
- Review information from previous session, including the group agreement
- Answer any questions including those placed in the question box
- Deliver session content using interactive activities
- Finish with an evaluation activity
Program content
Caught Between Two Cultures explores content including:
- Puberty
- Menstruation
- Respectful Relationships
- Contraception
- Pregnancy
- Sexually transmitted infections
- Cervical screening
- Body image (including skin bleaching)
- Sexual decision making and consent
- FGM/C
- Leadership and advocacy
